I live in Biella. During my secondary school years I studied drawing, painting and art history. For decades I designed and produced fabrics for men's and women's clothing and fashion. Alongside my work as a fabrics designer, I felt an ever-stronger need to express myself through painting and drawing as well. In the history of humanity, work and effort do not disappear but pass through, move on and go beyond, leaving their traces. They transform from generation to generation in the course of history, always weaving new projects in other places and at other times, towards new horizons. I enjoy researching and experimenting with painting techniques that allow great freedom, interweaving line and colour with fabrics, wood, packing cardboard and textile materials used in industrial design.
