Selections for Rome 2026 - "Ego Sum, Art as Identity"

AccorsiArte is selecting artists for "Ego Sum, Art as Identity", an international visual art exhibition in Rome from 20 November to 20 December 2026 at the Trevi Collection Art Hotel, in the city centre, opposite the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art.

I am an Artist, I do not play the artist

This call is addressed to those for whom art is not a passing profession or an exercise in style, but an innate condition of being. We are selecting artists who refuse passive adaptation to the reality around them: figures who choose not to endure the world but to transform it, bringing their personal feelings outward through an absolute inner necessity. The artwork is not meant as a consumer product, but as a physical extension of the author's identity.

Dates

From 20 November to 20 December 2026. Vernissage on Friday 20 November from 6:30 pm. The dates were chosen to coincide with the art fair season and the Christmas period.

Location

The Trevi Collection Hotel is an elegant 4-star boutique art hotel at Via di Capo le Case 60, Rome, just 200 metres from Piazza di Spagna and 500 metres from the Trevi Fountain, with a panoramic terrace.

Rules

The selection is open to all artists working in contemporary art: painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, installations. Works will be carefully assessed and selected on the basis of research, quality and innovation.

Participation

Selected artists can exhibit:

• 1 work: €130
• 2 works: €250
• 3 works: €360
• 4 works: €480

For artists on permanent display at the Turin gallery, prices include return transport from the Turin gallery.

Solo exhibition

• First floor, 10 works: €1,200
• First floor, 20 works: €2,400
• Lobby and restaurant on the ground floor, 20 works: €2,600

The solo exhibition includes, free of charge, a critical text on the works on display and a video dedicated to the artist, published on the Gallery's social media pages.

• Registration and administrative management of the event
• Listing of the event on official websites, Exibart, RomaToday, the AccorsiArte web pages and the hotel's social and web pages
• Photo shoot of the works and video of the event
• Communication of the event to the Gallery's contact lists
• Staff dedicated to promotion and sales

The Gallery takes a 20% commission on sales.
