Dolores Previtali "The Others" - Solo Exhibition in Venice

From 18 July to 30 August 2024, the Accorsi Arte gallery in Venice (Castello, Calle dei Forni 2265, Vaporetto stop Arsenale) hosts "The Others", a solo exhibition by Dolores Previtali, curated by Daniela Accorsi. Opening Thursday 18 July 2024 from 6:00 pm. Free admission.

Dolores Previtali, an artist of clear renown among connoisseurs of that marvellous and superior Art, communicates a wise language made of bronze and earth which, with strength and unending gestural energy, brings about the genesis of the body that moves delicately and impetuously.

A tenacious and strong sculptor in the act of modelling, almost defeating the enemy silence of knowledge, Previtali shapes torsos and backs into evocative forms that evoke the lyrical effort of survival, virility, love and matter that becomes flesh in triumph of existence.

A procession of Souls obedient to an invisible call, pressed and pushed towards an unknown but unique destination, an inaudible celestial sound, an uncontrolled and irrepressible attraction, a procession, a line of the crowded that leaves no other direction.
